This Privacy Policy describes how and when EnergyMEASURES, a project funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme, collects, uses, and shares your information when you use the www.energymeasures.eu website.

The website is provided by the EnergyMEASURES Consortium, coordinated by University College Cork and Oikoplus KG. When using the website you consent to the collection, storage, processing and utilization of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Personal information we collect

The EnergyMEASURES website only collects information absolutely necessary for providing its services to its visitors. More specifically, we collect data by using cookies to make the website operational. Thus, when you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address and time zone. Additionally, as you browse the website, we collect information about the individual web pages or documents that you view.

Finally, we will collect your personal contact details if you complete the ‘contact us’ form and use it to respond to your question/comment. However, your personal contact details will not be stored or processed thereafter.

For the subpage https://energymeasures.eu/cork/ we use a form to collect and store contact data which is forwarded to University College Cork’s Cleaner Production Promotion Unit. The personal data (identity, contact) is used to perform energy related consultations with users.

What are cookies and how do you delete or block cookies?

Use of Google Analytics and how to opt out

In order to understand how our visitors use our webpage, and analyse EnergyMEASURE’s reach, we may use Google Analytics, which collects and processes first-party cookies, i.e. data related to the device/browser, IP address and on-site/app activities, to measure and report statistics about user interactions on the websites and/or apps that use Google Analytics.

In order to limit the collection of personal data, EnergyMEASURES has selected IP address anonymization. Thus, the last octet of the IP address of users is set to zero prior to its storage.
